IHRM Benevolent Fund is a Social Welfare Fund established to accord members and their immediate family financial assistance in case of death, permanent disability, retrenchment or sickness.
- Open to all IHRM members
- Funded through annual subscription by members
- Annual subscriptions from KES 3,500 to KES 17,500
Benefits of IHRM Benevolent Fund
It aims to provide financial relief to IHRM members and/or their families through:
- Provision of welfare support to the families of our deceased members.
- Provision of welfare support to our members diagnosed with critical illness.
- Funding education for members’ children in the event of the members’ demise.
- Provision of welfare support to our members on loss of their jobs.
How it works
Annual subscription options
The benefits are funded through annual subscription by members. Annual members are required to pay a renewable yearly fee in order to secure any assistance from the Fund. The annual subscriptions in Kenya are as follows.
Bronze Option
KES 7,000 annual subscription.
Silver Option
KES 10,500 annual subscription.
Gold Option
KES 14,000 annual subscription.
Platinum Option
KES 17,500 annual subscription.
Who is eligible to join IHRM Benevolent Fund?
All IHRM members.
How is payment of subscription fee done?
Membership subscription to the Fund is made through IHRM M-Pesa Pay Bill No. 355050, with your membership number as the account number.
What happens in the unfortunate event of death?
Members are supported in case of retrenchment, incapacitation, illness and demise of his/her immediate family member. The family of the member, i.e. children, spouse or parents, is supported in the event of their demise.
