How the fund works

Regular interest income, at medium risk.

Objective

To generate a regular interest income, with long-term stability and growth of capital.

What it invests in

Government securities and call and fixed deposits. Its policy also allows bank acceptances, commercial paper, corporate bonds and a small offshore allocation.

Income

Interest is the fund's return. Withholding tax on that interest is charged to the fund.

Investing

Invest from KES 100 as a lump sum, and add to it as you go. Units are priced every day at their net asset value.

Withdrawals

Paid within 4 working days. One free withdrawal a month; further withdrawals carry a withdrawal frequency charge of KES 500. No exit fee.

Safekeeping

Your money and the assets bought with it are held in custody by an approved bank, licensed by the Capital Markets Authority and regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya.

Regulated

The Enwealth Capital Unit Trust Scheme is offered to the public with the permission of the Capital Markets Authority.

Risk

A medium-risk fund: its value can fall as well as rise, and there are no guarantees on your capital.
