Janet Waweru

An accomplished finance and accounting executive with over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in financial management, strategic planning, financial modelling, budgeting, performance reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance and business transformation. Her experience includes providing strategic financial guidance to Boards and Management, strengthening financial reporting and governance, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, mobilising funding for business growth, overseeing regulatory and statutory compliance, managing financial and operational risks, and supporting the implementation of business strategy.

She holds an MBA in Finance from United States International University–Africa (USIU-A), is ACCA qualified, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounts. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA).
